The rating or credit rating is assessed on the basis of the equity requirements of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (Basel I to III) and the Basel Committee of the Bank for International Settlements and means the check-up of the creditworthiness of borrowers.
On the one hand ratings are made internal by a bank, on the other hand external by specially made to this specialized rating agencies. The ratings of external agencies are awarded in the form of rating codes A through D. Credit ratings or credit checks also can be set by the German Federal Bank.
A rating of advice is to prepare businesses to a bank's internal or external rating and includes, among other things, the
- analysis of strenghts and weaknesses
- determination of change and potential policy options
- risk minimization
- reduction costs and increase revenues
to improve your credit rating, the basis for negotiations with banks and external agencies, and improving credit conditions.
