Rating-Advisory! Because favorable credit terms are not a coincidence!

Whether in a start-up or during a business expansion, it is often necessary to raise external capital. The amount and the conditions have an enormous impact on the future development of your business.

Whether the loan is generally granted at the desired height and at favorable interest rates is increasingly always the result of a bank's internal ratings (engl. estimate, evaluate).

Each borrower who requires a credit has to pass a check based on the capital requirements for banks and financial services institutions (Basel II). Through a comprehensive preparation for the loan application, the result of the rating can be actively influenced. A better credit rating and significantly lower interest rate is the result.

The challange:

You, as an entrepreneur, do not know which criterias are used by the bank to assess your company. This will create a credit rating about you and your company without you knowing, what happened to you with the documentation, provided in the credit department of the bank.

On the other hand, the makers in the credit departments have never been "inside" of your company. Checklists are therefore increasingly processed and there is a standardized end product, without considering the individual characteristics of your company.

Here we come into the picture.

Let us take a ship, which for example will enter into a major port. Your company is the ship and the bank is the harbor. You can use our service as a pilot to make sure to enter the harbor. We put one hand the "mindset of the bank" in your company and your other "entrepreneurial mindset" in the bank.

So we develop a strategy together to increase your ratings and optimize your presence on the bench for the benefits of your company. We optimally present the opportunities from the planned expansion of capacity understandable and simple in the banker’s language.

We speak, steer your ship through dangerous shoals to the landing dock (lending to the conditions targeted by you). This rating is based on quantitative (hard) factors such as financial statements, ratios, liquidity as well as qualitative (soft factors) such as business strategy, corporate management and financial planning and success.

The multitude of different factors makes it necessary that you and your organization must work together as a team on a ship. Here we can support you as a guide, exactly?

The most important thing is you, the captain. You have the goal and the strategy. You set the course. We will help to translate this strategy into a language a "banker" can also understand. This strategy must be implemented in daily business operations. Responsible for this is the management of your officers. They ensure that the individual departments perceive their roles and the ship makes a good trip.

Responsible for ensuring that this journey takes you towards the desired goal, the controller is the helmsman and navigator. It ensures that your ship remains in spite of adverse winds and currents on track. For this he needs reliable information about the current position of the ship, speed and weather conditions. This information is provided by the accounting department.

The production and distribution are the sails, without a ship would not budge. The human resource department ensures that the right people are hiring on your ship and are in the right positions. Only if all sectors work hand in hand, your ship will be worthy for your port of destination (bank credit) and you can enter it. Here all areas are being explored by the port master.

Our job, as a pilot, is to support you in this way to present your boat, therefore the eye of the harbor master immediately can catch the advantages, and weaknesses can be overlapped or be put in perspective. Here we benefit from what we know exactly because of our experience with the harbor master.

Such small weaknesses can still be repaired already at sea and for greater vulnerability plans to correct this can already be submitted. The harbor master in turn, thus gaining a generally positive picture of you and your business and let you operate with good conditions. Let say the bank recognizes your investment is good and come to a positive credit decision.

We do not offer a standard product from the shelf, but each consultation is tailored specifically to your business and your wishes and ideas. Not every presentation is suitable for every company! Our offer ranges from simple, classic business plan on glossy brochures with pictures of professional photographers through to corporate videos about your business with specially-composed soundtrack music for your business.

This is possible through a broad interdisciplinary network of partners from various industries such as accountants and tax consultants, management consultants, professional photographers, advertising films, musicians, etc.). A good rating can also be due to suppliers, insurance and public funding institutions of benefits.

Also, small and medium enterprises are able to tap new financing instruments with a well-developed credit rating. Private investors can be persuaded to provide funds for example. Last but not least, the stock and bond market is increasingly seen as a possible source of financing for medium-sized enterprises.

A well-prepared rating would be a first step in this direction. At the same time to systematically deal with the issue rating offers the opportunity not only to reduce its cost of capital, but is also very often associated with an improved operating result, because the transparency, communication and control capability of the company is optimized overall.

We are looking forward to helping you!
